The foundation, vent panels, and railing were all designed to appear as extensions of the original construction. |

The cement block foundation rests on a continuous reinforced concrete footing. Framing lumber is pressure treated for rot resistance. |

Construction details
Railing components have been pre-coated prior to assembly. The ipe (“iron wood”) deck is attached with blind fasteners. |
