Prior to our client's acquisition maintenance had lapsed. Walls were begrimed, the fireplace was smoke stained, the originally varnished woodwork severely degraded.

The mottled color of woodwork stems from contrasting colors of primer and filler.

Littering the floor masking are remains of wallpaper and deteriorated plaster. The blue filler, when sanded, erases surface irregularities. The picture molding was added.
